What is Center Grove Trails?
Center Grove Trails is a volunteer organization which seeks to generate community support, find sources of funding, and help to create multi-use trails throughout the Center Grove community, connecting neighborhoods with schools, services and other trail systems. Center Grove Trails is also known as the White River Township Trails Committee. Center Grove Trails is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit. Donations made to our organization are tax deductible..
Center Grove Trails Objectives:
We plan to begin by establishing trails near schools, connecting them with nearby communities and services. Greenways and open spaces will be evaluated for trails. We will take advantage of existing plans for trails and sidewalks, supporting and helping to speed their completion. We will work with government bodies and developers to establish trail and sidewalk standards for new construction. Lastly, we will connect our trails with other trail systems such as the Indianapolis Greenway Trails System and the Greenwood trails system.
Our Mission
Center Grove Trails and the White River Township Trails Committee facilitate and support the creation and awareness of an accessible, connected multi-use trail system along roads, waterways, and other routes for the use and enjoyment of all.
